THE GLOBAL ORGANIC MARKET HAS PASSED THE 100 BILLION US DOLLAR

Organic food sales surpassed the 100 billion US dollar in 2018. The countries with the largest organic markets were the United States (51 billion US dollar or 42 percent), followed by the European Union (45 billion US dollar, 38.5 percent), and China (8.8 billion US dollar, 8.3 percent).
