Management of organic aquaponic production ensures fish and crops cultivation complies with current version of ICERT Standard on Organic and Natural Aquaponic Production System.

The standard requires aspects of aquaponic management, resources and production processes which refer to the FAO Guidelines for aquaponics production and SNI 6729:2016.

Organic aquaponics certification is given for the scope of food plant products produced from organic aquaponics production systems. Fish production itself cannot be certified organic according to this standard, because fish production is a unit of production from the aquaponics system.
