Plant and Plant Products

Organic certification for plants and plant products [food crops, horticulture, estate crop] that area cultivated organically. 

General requirements:

  • Don’t use agrochemicals or genetically modified products in the farm at the least for 2 years for annual crops, or at least for 3 years for perennial crops.
  • Avoiding contamination from outside of farms [water, air, equipments].
  • No mixing products from organic farm and from non-organic farms then claimed as organic products.
  • Implementing organic system plan.

Additional requirements:

If you involve or collaborate with small farmers in organic production, it is required to implement an Internal Control System [ICS] to ensure that all actors in the organic production supply chain, especially small farmers to marketing are in accordance with standards.
